HOMEWORK 9A & 9B
Create your own Hindi sentences using the following constructions.
- Try to use all the different subject pronouns ( मैं, तुम, वह, यह, आपetc.).
- Use a different verb in each sentence.
1. Make a yes or no question sentence with न
2. Use और to mean "more."
3. and 4. Make two sentences using optative (subjunctive) tense.
5. Use future tense with subject मैं
6. Use future tense with subject तुम
7. Use future tense with subject हम
8. Use future tense with any proper name as subject.
9. Use future tense with subject वे (feminine).
10. Use future tense with subject वह (feminine).
11., 12. and 13. Make three sentences with the "verb root + कर" construction.
14. Use a time expression (for example "3 o'clock") with the past progressive tense.
15. Use a different time expression with the past imperfect tense (past habitual).
16. Use a different time expression with the future tense.
17. and 18. Make two question sentences using the future tense.
19. and 20. Make two sentences using two different part of the day expressions (for example "in the evening").
21. and 22. Make two sentences using "to be supposed to."
